West Loop Family Chiropractic (formerly Relief Care Chiropractic) is located in Chicago in the West Loop Neighborhood.
West Loop Family Chiropractic's mission is to help every one of our patients live healthy lives at all stages of life, from birth, through childhood and into adulthood. Dr. Neumann specializes in treatment before, during and after pregnancy but her favorite practice members to treat are the pediatric patients.
We also treat patients suffering with neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, and poor posture. West Loop Family Chiropractic takes a whole body approach to find out what is causing your pain and discomfort so we can work together to relieve it, while also looking at every aspect of your health and wellness.

Chiropractic for Animals

Chiropractic care is also important for animals. Dr. Neumann is certified in chiropractic treatment of animals as well. She treats small animals as well as large animals with chiropractic to improve their mobility and decrease pain.

• What will my first visit be like?

  • On your first visit you will fill out some forms with general health information, then the doctor will take you back for a consultation where you can tell her what your current health issues and goals are. After the consultation Dr. Neumann will perform an examination to determine the cause, right course of action, and proper treatment for your condition. Once she has assessed you, she will discuss the best course of treatment for you specifically. Treatment is then given on the first day based on her recommendations. Once you've completed your treatment for the day Dr. Neumann will typically give you a set of exercises or at home instructions to make sure you progress as quickly as possible.
    
    
    

• Do I have to book and pay in advance?

  • At West Loop Family Chiropractic you can book as many visits in advance as you are comfortable with. Booking in advance ensures you get the appointment times that work for you, but it is not required. Payment is always due at the time of service, paying in advance is not required.
    
    
    

• Do I have to keep coming forever?

  • Chiropractic care is beneficial throughout life to keep your body active and functioning at its optimal level. Wellness care is provided for patients who want to live a healthy, active lifestyle. Similar to going to the dentist every six months to have your teeth checked, it's beneficial to get your spine checked regularly. • I'm pregnant.  Can I still get care?

  • Pregnancy is a time where it is especially important to have your spine and pelvis checked. Chiropractic works safely to relieve pain without any drugs or toxic chemicals.

  • Dr. Neumann is a Webster provider. Webster technique helps with intrauterine constraint that can be contributing factor to a breech presentation pregnancy. She has seen great results with the Webster technique in allowing the baby more room to get into the proper position for birth.

  • West Loop Family Chiropractic also provides acupuncture which can be beneficial throughout pregnancy as well.
    
    
    

• You adjust children? Is that safe?

  • Chiropractic care is safe for patients from birth onwards. Dr. Neumann has adjusted infants as early as a few hours after birth. The birth process can be very traumatic on the nervous system of the baby, getting them checked as soon as you can sets them up to have a high functioning nervous system from early on.

  • Adjustments for babies and children are very different than they are for adults. They are done with light pressures to specific spinal areas to release any tension in the spine and nervous system. If a baby or child is sleeping at the time of an adjustment typically they won't wake during their adjustment.

  • Chiropractic for children and babies provides relief for conditions like ear infections, constipation, chronic fevers, torticolis, latching issues during breast feeding, and many, many more. • Do you take my insurance?

  • We understand how tricky insurance can be so we try to make it as easy as possible for you to know your benefits. All plans vary. Dr. Neumann is in network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO. She also accepts Medicare.

  • Medicaid, HMO and most Obamacare plans do not cover your chiropractic care at West Loop Family Chiropractic.
